Never. Once purchased, they sit on your account until you spend them.
What happens if my job fails?
The hold snaps back to your balance within seconds. You are never charged for failed hardware runs.
Is there a markup on hardware rates?
No. Every rate above matches the hardware maker's list price exactly.
What about simulators?
Statevector (up to 50q), density-matrix (with noise), and a fast Clifford+T simulator are free and unlimited on every plan — we cover the cost.
Can I bring my own credits?
Yes — on Enterprise, we can route jobs against your existing hardware-provider billing relationships.
